Aleph @ Upside Down

  • Upside Down 10962 Le Conte Avenue Los Angeles, CA, 90024 United States (map)

Upside Down is providing a safe space for students to talk honestly and openly about life’s biggest questions, process doubts, and simply explore faith.

Who's invited? UCLA Students with either a religious or non-religious upbringing who are interested in a safe, non-judgmental, pressure-free place to explore their questions about faith and spirituality.

What can I expect? The evening will start with a free meal from one of Westwood's local restaurants, followed by live music by local LA-based artists. We then will listen to a short talk on a spiritual topic, grab a coffee, and dive into a small group discussion. In these groups, we get to be open and honest about questions, doubts, and fears while making new friends and exploring life's questions.

When does it run? Every Thursday night at Upside Down, come once, twice, or for the whole thing!

Week 1: Thursday, April 13th at 6:30 - 8:30 PM – "Anxious about the future"

Week 2: Thursday, April 20th at 6:30 - 8:30 PM – "Jesus in a Jewish context"

Week 3: Thursday, April 27th at 6:30 - 8:30 PM – "The power of forgiveness"
