Upside Down is pleased to present an exhibition of new work by Aviva Maoz. Aviva Maoz is a prolific, multimedia artist living in LA. Through her own language of abstraction, Moaz translates her personal experiences of loss into a kind of meandering — layering memories and lessons onto the canvas. Her work is full of questions yet optimistic: finding hope in hardship, capturing human resilience in loss, and questioning the divine in the midst of silence. 

This exhibition features her latest work which experiments with texture and fragmentation, while traversing emotional landscapes. Maoz’s amorphous shapes evoke a sense of movement and fluidity, inviting reflection and deeper investigation, creating a space for the viewer to contemplate and to soar.
