Exploring Identity and Memory through Abstracted Art Making

About the Workshop:

Los Angeles based artist Shannon Kim teaches an introductory lesson on abstract art. We all have the potential to be creative, and Shannon will guide us to use art as a tool to explore deeper into our identity, memory, and sense of place through exercises and techniques to harness our creativity and make meaningful art. Complimentary coffee and pastries included.

Wednesday, November 29th from 3:30-5 pm

About the Artist:
Shannon Kim (@theartistshannonkim) lives and works in Southern California. She attended the University of California, Berkeley as well as Fullerton College. Currently she uses her Bachelor in Fine Arts to profess the importance of creativity to all who will enjoy her artwork at local fairs and gallery exhibits and through art classes/workshops throughout the year.Shannon's art stems from her theory that all people have the potential to be creative. She uses a blend of traditional materials to create her abstracted artwork.
